We prefer to use:
- LAME for MP3,
- Media Player 9 SDK for WMA,
- faac for AAC,
- X for Ogg-Vorbis and
- FLAC (for FLAC!)
If that makes sense to you then please contact us if you want to either:
- Request an alternative encoder
- Request a specific set of options for one of the above encoders (e.g. a specific LAME command line)
In the future we hope to make these options part of our a la carte self service order process.
